Ford has a long and distinguished history of building fast Fiestas, from the XR2i to the more recent ST. Currently on sale is the 1.6 Zetec S producing 120bhp which is quick, but not the quickest in it's class. We don't know if Ford will produce a quicker "hot hatch" but in the meantime Fiesta buyers and indeed owners can benefit from Ford's commissioning of Mountune, a British engineering company, to produce a genuine and worthy sucessor to the ST producing aqn exhilarating 140bhp.

The modifications are fitted by a selected number of Ford dealers who have the necessary diagnostic equipment and the modifications are not visual except for the yellow mirrors and discreet side flash. This keeps the price down. It can be fitted to a car new from the showroom or to one that is already on the road..
