Cruise control: has been around for yearson all makes but ----

Adaptive cruise control is an enhanced system that monitors the road ahead using radar. It maintains a pre-set cruising speed using the brakes to slow the vehicle when moving objects are in the way and then resuming the set speed when the road is clear. The system can be used between 19 and 112mph.

Adjustable speed limiting device. This is a feature that enhances cruise control on certain engines and models. Once the driver has set the desired speed, it will permanently display in the instrument panel and provide a warning if the speed is exceeded. This is obviously valuable to a driver setting a speed close to a speed limit.

Blind spot information system. This detects and tracks objects in the vehicles blind spot. Long range radar measures the speed difference to a vehicle approaching quickly in a different lane and a warning will appear in the wing mirror on the side of the approaching vehicle. The system can be de-activated by the driver.
