More Technology from Ford Explained

As Ford Main Dealers in Cheshire we feel that some of the recent (2011) technology incorporated in Ford cars is amazing and should be advertised. Not just the cars!
Here are some of the things that make the Ford ECOnetic range of cars so economical with such low co2 emissions. Some of the range pay no road tax what-so-ever.
Auto stop-start. Automatically switches off the engine when the vehicle comes to a standstill.
Smart regenerative charging. Converts kinetic energy produced under braking to electric energy.
Ford ECO mode. Informs the drivers how economically they are driving.
Low tension FEAD Reduces friction, improving fuel economy and reducing CO2.
Low rolling resistance tyres. Reduces the energy required to maintain momentum along the road.
Modified engine calibration. Diesel engines have been modified for optimum fuel economy.
Lowered sports suspension. Lowers the ride height of the car which improves aerodymamic efficiency.
Low friction oil. Less resistance to the moving parts of the engine therefore more power to drive th car.
Powertrain undershield. Guides the air more efectively under the car - better aerodynamics.
Tyre inflation kit. In lieu of a spare wheel, lessens weight and improves fuel consumption.
Front grille air deflectors and aerodynamic rear spoiler. Channels air more effectively over the car.
Transmission final drive ratio.Lowers the engine rpm improving fuel consumption.
Green gearshift light indicator. Reminds the driver when to change gear.
Aerodynamic rear air deflectors. Channels airflow over the tyres reducing drag.
And finally, a word about us. We are a 4th. generation family owned Ford Main Dealer having been in business for over 90 years. Our neighbouring Ford Main Dealers are part of huge groups. I would not for a minute run them down but of course they are not able to offer the same individual personal service that we always do and certainly not at the prices that we charge. Give us a try! We are conveniently located in Congleton in Cheshire near th M6 Junction 17 and 18 which is handy for the North West of England and for the West Midlands.
