The recent Paris Motor Show provided a spectacular launch pad for the all-new Ford Focus. Colourful, noisy , energetic the biennial auto showcase attracted some 1.5 million visitors and Ford made the most of the opportunity.
In December this year (2004) the people of Cheshire and Staffordshire will have the chance to see this fabulous range of cars here in Congleton without travelling to Paris.
The Chairman of Ford Europe drew a huge crowd in Paris when he unveiled LA COLLECTION FOCUS the new Focus family of vehicles. It was quite an event, not only was it the first chance for the public to see the new range of vehicles but after unveiling the 3-door, the 5 door and the estate versions the Chairman took the wraps off a stylish 4 door jaw-dropping concept cabriolet, the Focus Vignale.
Under the bonnet the Focus pioneers Ford's new 115PS 1.6 duratec TI-VCT engine as part of a comprehensive power train line up. Twin independant camshaft timing (TI-VCT) improves airflow through the engine and delovers more torque while reducing average fuel consumption by up to 5%. This engine compliments the 1.4, the 1.6 and the 2.0 litre petrol engines and the 1.6 and2.0 litre TDCI diesel engines.
This is certainly a range of cars worth looking out for. We are taking orders NOW in Congleton for the new range. The first used "New Focus" will be available here at Burns early in the new year. Watch our website for new. www.burnsgarages.co.uk
