The Ford Focus was the best selling car in the country in 2004. It was therefore a bold move for Ford to introduce it's replacement whilst it was at the height of it's popularity.

The New Ford Focus is in every way a new vehicle. It is not a "facelift" on the old model. It is a new shape, slightly wider and longer and it incorporated a lot of new ground breaking technology. At the moment there is the 3door, the 5 door and the estate car versions available with the 4 door to follow shortly.

The anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution is designed to help you steer around obstacles without skidding even when you are forced to brake hard.

For extra stability, optional "electronic stability programme", with traction assist, helps to combat problems that can occur during sudden manoeuvres. By momentarily braking individual wheels or reducing engine power, it makes the car easier to control even in tricky situations. There is also the option of "emergency brake assist" that works on conjunction with larger front and rear disk brakes to help reduce stopping distances.

Add to that the ultra-stiff bodyshell that helps to keep the wheels firmly on the road, even around twisting bends, and you will agree that the New Ford Focus comes generously equiped to help you feel safe, secure and protected.
